A Call for Volunteers for the 2011 ASQ World Conference on Quality Improvement (WCQI)

An Opportunity to Expand Your Horizons and Earn a $1000 Benefit

The 802 Section Leadership Committee and others are excited about the announcement that the 2011 ASQ WCQI will be held in Pittsburgh. To execute a flawless WCQI, the Section will need many volunteers to work at the WCQI. In return the volunteers for the 2011 WCQI will be allowed to register and participate in the conference free of charge -- this is almost a $1000 benefit. Thus the volunteer will be able to attend the exciting Conference sessions, and interact with the Conference delegates from all over the United States and many foreign nations as well. In view of the fact that we will need a large number of volunteers, we will look for volunteers from volunteers locally as well as outside the ASQ Pittsburgh Section boundaries as well. If you will enjoy meeting new professionals from all over the USA and world and being their host; networking with them, participate in intellectually stimulating conference sessions then consider volunteering and please contact us.

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Section level to help spread the word in Internet and print marketing of the Section's programs. This will include E-Mail Communication, write-up for the Section web site, publicize the Section Programs such as meeting and training sessions, etc. If you have the ability to communicate and write; or would like to sharpen your skills, and network, then consider volunteering and please contact us.
