Education - Certified Calibration Technician Preparation

This course is a refresher for the Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) Examination. This certification is designed for the professional who tests, calibrates, maintains and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating, instruments and equipment, for conformance to established standards.

Who Should Attend?:

This class will prepare the entry level employee for quality improvement activities – whether in the quality department or not.

Education and/or Experience:

Need 5 years on-the-job experience in one more of BOK. If you have completed a degree, some of the 5 years may be waived:

  • Diploma from a technical or trade school – one year
  • Associates degree – two years
  • Bachelors degree – four years
  • Masters degree – five years

Instructor: Joe Caylor

Joe Caylor has over 35 years as a quality professional in the primary metals, metal fabrication, glass, automotive, aerospace and transportation industries. He is currently the Quality Manager at LSC Company, a high volume metal turning company in Monroeville, PA. He is certified by ASQ as a Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, Engineer, Auditor and Calibration Technician. He holds Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems Auditor certifications by the RABQSA Accreditation Board. Mr. Caylor is also the principle of Ceethree Inc., a management consulting, training, and auditing group of companies.
