Education - Quality Process Analyst Preparation

This course is a refresher for the Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) Examination. This entry level certification is designed for the paraprofessional who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A CQPA may be a recent graduate or someone with work experience who wants to demonstrate their knowledge of quality tools and processes.

Participants Will Learn:

  • Quality Basics – Planning, Audits, COQ, Standards, Documentation, Teams, Training
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Data Analysis – Basic Statistics, SPC, MSA
  • Customer-Supplier Relations Quality Concepts/Problem

Who Should Attend?:

This class will prepare the entry level employee for quality improvement activities – whether in the quality department or not.

Education and/or Experience:

Need 2 years work experience or associate degree. There is no recertification requirement. This is a lifetime certification.

Instructor: Joe Caylor

Joe Caylor has over 35 years as a quality professional in the primary metals, metal fabrication, glass, automotive, aerospace and transportation industries. He is currently the Quality Manager at LSC Company, a high volume metal turning company in Monroeville, PA. He is certified by ASQ as a Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, Engineer, Auditor and Calibration Technician. He holds Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems Auditor certifications by the RABQSA Accreditation Board. Mr. Caylor is also the principle of Ceethree Inc., a management consulting, training, and auditing group of companies.
