Education - Software Quality Engineer Preparation This course provides a comprehensive presentation of all aspects of software quality engineering in preparation for the ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) Exam. Fundamentals discussed will improve your understanding of the software development process. Practical experience is drawn upon to teach the finer points of project management such as managing stakeholder expectations, planning, and managing risk. ISO/IEC 90003 guideline for software development is discussed, including their application to contractual supplier management.
Who Should Attend?: Anyone taking the CSQE exam, or those individuals interested in studying software quality as a discipline. Education and/or Experience: Need 8 years on-the-job experience in one more of BOK, which incl. a minimum of 3 years be in a decision-making position. This may or may/not incl. mgt or supervisory positions. If you have completed a degree from a college, some of the 8 years may be waived:
Instructor: Robin Dudash Robin Dudash has 18 years experience in all levels of computing from business mainframes, client-server, to real-time process control platforms. Through her successful project management, she has led major capital expenditures budgeting in excess of $2 million. Some of these projects were fully automated control systems and contracted to attain 99.9% system reliability. Ms. Dudash currently owns her own company that conducts consulting for ISO-9001, TS-16949, and ISO 14001 quality system development, training services, and internal quality auditing services. She is also a subcontracted Lead Assessor for a Registrar. Prior assignments included Area Technical Manager for process control functions at for all strip finishing, which included 23 operating units, processing stainless and electrical coils from hot band to ship. Managing a team of engineers and welding & metallurgical technicians, efforts focused on identification and management of key process variables, continuous improvement projects, and resolution of customer complaints. While attending college and after college, she was a Systems Engineer developing optimized computer models for BOF charging and cold mill rolling performance at various steel operations for U.S. Steel. Robin has degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, and an MBA from Pitt. A Senior Member of ASQ, Ms. Dudash holds CQManager, CQA, CQE, CRE, CSQE, CCT, ANAB-LA, and TS-16949 certifications. She may be contacted at www.iqps.net.
