Job description (Tasks/Responsibilities):
In this role, the ideal candidate will work closely with the Quality and Process Engineering Manager to support the plant's manufacturing processes that include
but are not limited to: Support production floor in the review and analysis of manufacturing processes. Improve manufacturing methods and co-ordinate projects which will result
in reduced manufacturing costs and/or enhance product quality. Coordinate programs based on long range activity forecasts including analysis justification and
recommendations for facilities, equipment, product quality and/or manpower requirements. Lead and participate in project team activities involving process
improvements, value analysis, design reviews, product transfer and startup, and new product introduction. Perform duties that utilize up-to-date tools and techniques
in the area of time standards, line balancing, simulation modeling, cost estimation, manpower planning, productivity safety, and continuous improvement activities.
Skill Requirements:
BS in engineering or technical science. Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD). Prior demonstrated experience
with the following: Lean manufacturing techniques and Kaizen principles, Six Sigma tools, Routings, Time Studies and Line balancing.
