Quality System Business Analyst

Job description (Tasks/Responsibilities):

Lead initiatives in quality data analysis and reporting with the objectives of improvements in business system performance and quality system effectiveness and efficiency. Automate current business reporting activities as appropriate. Develop and analyze quality metrics needed to support Quality Management System efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare metrics for executive management reporting (e.g. monthly business segment quality / productivity reviews, quarterly management reviews, etc.) Represent Quality Systems Group on cross-functional, IT driven improvement initiatives to ensure that Quality Systems' concerns are well represented. Generate quality reporting to support business needs of SHR group Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Engineering organizations.

Skill Requirements:

BS or MS degree in technical field or applicable professional experience; Professional society memberships and certifications (e.g. ASQ-CQE, CQA, CQPA; six sigma, etc.) is preferred. 10+ years experience leading process improvement initiatives with strong knowledge of business processes. Competency with ERP functionality that supports quality data reporting. Strong knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and other data analysis tools. SAP experience, medical device product knowledge, and familiarity with operating in a regulated environment is preferred. Ability to effectively interface with associates at various levels in the organization. Excellent communications skills (writing, speaking, presentation). Problem solving, teaming, continuous improvement, time management and organizational skills, market foresight, learning agility, commitment to quality, judgment and decision-making.
