ASQ Pittsburgh Section Healthcare Special Interest Group

The ASQ Pittsburgh Section has had many successful healthcare speaker programs over the past several years and there has been a growing interest in more healthcare speaker programs. In response to this increased interest, ASQ is establishing a formal Healthcare Special Interest Group (SIG) to reach out to our current ASQ members who have a specific interest in the quality of healthcare as well as the growing healthcare community in our section’s area. The growing awareness and debate about Healthcare cost, quality, errors, and need for process improvement; and the Healthcare debate going on at the national level and in Congress should give us plenty to discuss in our meetings. We expect to have our the first Healthcare SIG meeting in January or February 2010.
